What's Buzz-worthy: After my monster find in my first one of these, this one only delivered another good card for a good rookie only found here, the Diamante of Knueppel who might just be the leading favorite over his college teammate (the guy on the box) for Rookie of the Year honors at the moment. (It's a long season, so we'll see.) The rest of the pack had strong points, too, with a Wemby cameo, a pair of LeBrons, the top rookie on opening night and the typical volume of inserts here with a few more RCs than last time. All in all, another hanger that was a (light) banger. ... As I noted last time, these packs are a world of difference from retail jumbos in that they deliver more of everything and there are exclusives that arrive here every time with potential for more. Just like in MLB -- and I ripped a lot of hangers there this year -- these are the home to the new and unusual Diamante parallels. They are a highlight for sure -- and they were for this pack, too -- but over time with a lot made even these might not hold up like one would expect. In the here and now, though, that's my top card here.
