What’s Buzz-worthy: My third pack of these box-toppers from a second case-size lot yielded another color and texture for a name I landed last time in Dawson, while the dual is a showcase card for Halloween with its creator and one of its stars who has gone on to be a filmmaker as well. Another solid pack at its price. As noted before, this year's edition of these proofs wasn't initially released as standalone packs like previous years. This time, they were box-topper packs inside the pricier regular Pop boxes and they can include printing plates regularly -- sometimes in the same pack like I found last time. At a bargain price -- this pack was just $5 in a lot -- and with plates, parallels and textures of many colors (all only 1/1s here unlike the main release with all those same types) and top names possible ... well, this is an easy bargain rip for me. There are a lot of names possible here but with two proofs per pack this time that should cut down on your potential dud packs where you might say "Who?" on both. All in all, these are nice for the price if you ask me ... and that's why I've opened a 20 packs so far. You'll see more of these in the coming weeks as quick posts on slower days ... mostly just because they are something different.
