What's Buzz-worthy: This one has been on my dabbling radar for a while now -- even with its delays -- as it arrived on June 20 this year after initially being slated for 2024. (The cards and box do call it a 2025 set, though, in case there's confusion.) There are no hits in this release beyond the many songs -- no autographs or memorabilia cards -- but there are a number of insert sets (some deep), a boatload of parallels and then some rarer finds among the variations (past band members) and some inserts such as Color Blast. Hobby boxes of this one are a mega box format with those guaranteeing 42 cards -- four of those being serial-numbered as well as two Silvers for a price not dramatically higher than blasters, which have Red and Blue versions likely with the familiar Walmart/Target splits for color of parallels. I grabbed this box more out of convenience -- I saw it, so I grabbed it -- while I know a hobby box (hit the link up top) is a better rip for the dollars. There are parallels available in both formats, so it's just a matter of cost and how much you want guaranteed serial-numbered cards (each time in hobby ... but some still in blasters, just not every time) or the rarer inserts which are in both. The production here is crisp and clean, so I will definitely dabble with more at some point ... perhaps soon. Why? There's a lot to like here ... and I suspect I might grade a few for my music cards stash, too. This one was a surprise in each pack with one insert, one parallel and two base cards each time -- a well-balanced package -- and I liked the blaster one more than I thought I would. I'll offer more thoughts when I rip more.
