What's Buzz-worthy: It's been a few years since I ripped into any type of pack from this company -- last time was some women's soccer cards -- and this one was a variety-packed surprise despite one small twist ... I was shorted one base card per the company's breakdown of what should be in a box. The variety here comes from a boatload of subsets in the 150-card set of IndyCar racing stars with some even feeling like they might be insert card or parallels but all are presented in numerical order in the gallery. After that, I landed exactly what should be here, so this probably is an average pack that might have graded higher without the botch. I won't pretend to know every name here -- I only recognize a few and one that tried NASCAR back in the day -- as I'm just a light dabbler in anything racing these days. There are autographs and other actual hits to chase -- one in roughly 10 packs in this format for ink -- and other boxes you can rip will yield more volume and guarantees. This one was a simple rip for me just to see what was going on. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would and wouldn't be against opening some more just for the heck of it as the price point is cheap and there's still potential with the ink vs. the cost. This one could easily out-deliver many options in the retail wild as a lot of names here probably don't have boatload of cards and the production quality is strong.

Product Grade: A- (crisp and clean look -- add some gloss and they'd easily top the stuff from the biggest companies)
Pack Grade:
C (some from the deduction for a missing card)
Fun Grade: B- (variety helped out a lot here but it did all feel somewhat standard one I looked at the checklist/array of possibilities)
