What's Buzz-worthy: The pickings were slim in the retail aisle -- or stuff just wouldn't reliably deliver for the price -- so I went back to this low-end well a couple more times since the MLB postseason is chugging along pretty well. What I got here? Not all that flashy -- and not as interesting to me now as back when it arrived -- but I did see a number of names in the here and now popping up here. They made it a decent box in terms of the mix but with a boatload made it's not really an A-level pack for the dollars here. Had some of those better names shown up in parallel slots? Different story. ... As noted before, the foilboard effect is back on every single card but instead of going dark on the borders it's a mash-up of 1982, 1984 and 2019 with a light modern look this time around. Does it work? Yes. ... The Stars Of MLB cards once again carrying more retail weight -- so it definitely still needs more variety with a normal pack. ... If you like what you see, rip into jumbo for your best results with a guaranteed autograph and Relic and maybe more.
Product Grade: B+
Box Grade: A- (good mix of names here but heavy volumes made hurts values on everything, including the Sasaki RC)
Fun Grade: B
