What's Buzz-worthy: That Relic is one in 1,281 hanger packs -- so that makes this pack a win on paper no matter who it is. Waldrep went 6-1 with a 2.88 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 56 innings (10 appearances; nine of those starts) this season, so I definitely could have done worse. Atop that, I landed some good names in all spots of the pack, though the rookies were leaner than perhaps some of these boxes I have opened (inserts, too) ... and that's been a few as this one has been a plentiful and affordable go-to in the retail wild. (I'm just not dabbling as much on anything out there right now ... so cheaper wins.) This isn't the only time I have landed a substantially rarer Relic here this year, so this format might be worth a look or a small lot buy if you want to rip something, though the inserts can be consistent to the point of boredom to a degree if you open too much. ... The Stars Of MLB cards once again carry more retail weight -- so it definitely still needs more variety. ... If you like what you see, rip into jumbo for your best results with a guaranteed autograph and Relic and maybe more. This one does show that, with some luck, better stuff is possible here, too.
