What's Buzz-worthy: This box included the apparent typical minimum in this format for inserts with only a couple highlights there at most. The veterans included some top names but this series can be lean on that side and the rookies here were rough other than probably one name, though there would have been more demand for him a year ago vs. now. Had this included an additional better card or more inserts like a lot of these can have, this would be a reluctant A-level box. As it sits now, better than average but not a biggie. ... As noted before, the foilboard effect is back on every single card but instead of going dark on the borders it's a mash-up of 1982, 1984 and 2019 with a light modern look this time around. Does it work? Yes. ... The Stars Of MLB cards once again carrying more retail weight -- so it definitely still needs more variety with a normal pack. ... If you like what you see, rip into jumbo for your best results with a guaranteed autograph and Relic and maybe more. This box shows how the bare minimum here can be fine but not that flashy.
