What's Buzz-worthy:
You guys really liked this one last time, so I figured I'd try one more. ... This one delivered some different hits -- one interesting Hardball card you don't see every day -- and two packs of standard Topps. It also included a selection of base Topps cards from recent years and a smattering of small-set cards -- a Yankees team set, some filler 1987 Topps Traded cards -- and some early 1990s cards of decent names (but only a few). Overall, it was still a pretty comfortable mix and a little better than the typical repacks as these were mostly new cards and not the late-1980s and early 1990s filler that non-pack repacks typically rely on. ... As said before, I prefer repacks with more packs than loose cards and the only drawback of what was here was that there were a number of cards that showed corner and edge issues as if they might have been from jumbo rack packs that got thrown around at retail before arriving here. (It happens but is noticeable when you land a good card with an issue.) ... The packs were uneventful in this one, but could likely vary here as my past one had a USA Baseball hobby pack. The Purple cards didn't over-deliver this time, but they could be notable as finding those from past years isn't that easy. There's potential here on the relative cheap with these if the card aisle doesn't have what you went looking for. For a beginning collector this is a fun cheap option with a little more meat to it than typical blasters.
