What's Buzz-worthy: My second of these oddball repacks -- not one filled with newer (likely publisher stock) issues -- caught my attention with the front book being a variant from a comics chain/site for a past show. At times stuff like this can be rarer and maybe pricey but this one (along with other variants here) basically isn't ... but still something a little different than, say, standard books. The second reason it caught my attention was the trade paperback showing in the middle of the stack as it seemed like something more. ... Apparently New Dimension Comics is a Pennsylvania-based chain of stores and this repack showed up at an Ollie's Bargain Outlet store ... how that worked out I'm not sure, but these repacks are mostly older stuff -- and sometimes deluxe stuff -- and that got me to bite on a trio of them for some late-month filler. ... Five books for $6 was cheap enough for me to bite with the two books on the front and back known. I'll generally stick to the new-stuff repacks since I like the variant chase material and copies that are crisp and clean vs. potential damage over time, but this one shows that those things can happen here, too. In fact, almost all of this one was a variant or deluxe issue.
