What's Buzz-worthy: My newest pairing includes the rarer Demogorgon variant made of translucent plastic (unlike the one seen above) and then a Hopper figure that I also hadn't previously found so I guess that makes these a win. The cards here were all new, too, though some from the perhaps more-important black-bordered cards of characters have duplicated themselves and shown the quality control to be a little retro sloppy ... but I still like these. ... As I said last time, I'm not sure how big the set is here but I dig it -- heck, I don't even know how new or old these are as they are firmly from the toy section of the world and not the card section -- but I really like the meshing of retro-styled cards and miniature vinyls for this hit Netflix franchise. Even better here? You can find these for $10 a pack/box (whatever you want to call it) and the lineup is all the toys you see above plus a chase figure. How much do I like these? After ripping into two, I grabbed a half-dozen more and I'll drop a few more breaks of two just like this in the coming weeks. Why? I think these have some fun potential in a few directions -- and some interesting eBay auctions, too. (Some are trying to get a premium on the Millie Bobby Brown card since her name was spelled wrong ... but I don't think it got corrected. Don't pay that price.) ... The inclusions are meant to keep younger fans busy with a couple of those cards, turn the plastic TV into a display with other cards and then show characters and moments in traditional card form, too. I think hybrid products like this could have a growing place in the card world for sports ... but who might try it?
