This is our finale for today ... another hit-per-pack release with younger stars getting the spotlight -- one that includes the only 1/1 pull of the day by my quick mental recap.

Card That Stole The Show: Tough call here ... the Gold and plate are both one in five boxes but aren't big names. I'll go with the Asuka autograph, though it's not a convincing win.
What's Buzz-worthy: This one was the second year of NXT, WWE's developmental promotion, having a standalone card set. The first year was an online-first single-pack with auto box, while this one upped the ante with 10 of those packs all in one box. The safety in numbers here is key as there will be autos of past stars who didn't get there -- and they are cheap -- but there are also strong sigs to be found. Since it's been a few years, there are also perhaps more who didn't make a big splash, though the names you see on the notables here pretty much are found with autos ... so there's good potential here if you can find this one cheap. (That's not as easy five years later.) This box would have been a big one had I been ripping in Japan -- I landed Asuka in my first pack and then Shinsuke Nakamura in my third ... probably the best autos. Meanwhile, the plate of Tian Bing, the first WWE star from China, is a nice find though things didn't work out for him. All in all, this is a comfortable box but like Undisputed I had hopes for some better autos -- or at least ones I hadn't yet pulled -- a few here were in a box of this one I ripped during #BuzzMania2. These cards are on super-thin stock and since they are on-card autos that means a lot can have small nicks here and there -- and that helps the value when you find a clean copy of some of those key autos, especially parallels. NXT releases have moved to traditional boxes with two autos per so that has helped box prices compared to this one ... but this one is still fun due to the volume.
Product Grade: B+ (my original grade ... several signers have good place in WWE now so it's got A potential)
Box Grade: A- (a couple tougher pulls and notables on ink ... but no huge-money autos this time)
Fun Grade: A-
What's next? Look for WWE breaks among the regular Buzz Breaks daily on The Buzz ... and #BuzzMania5 this time next year.
