Buzz's BlowoutTV Breakdown: A Heritage MLB mixer + more
This entry was posted on April 11, 2024
.Group breaks have been a game-changer for the card industry for several years now and from time to time Buzz will jump into a BlowoutTV break of some type and break down the results of what he landed by picking up a team. There are near-daily breaks right here with Matt on Blowout TV during weekday working hours and even more from Houdini and others over on the forum in the evening.
Now, it's time for this post's break breakdown -- a spot in a Heritage baseball mixer with some extras.
INSIDE THE BREAK ...
The Product: A Heritage baseball mixer that included hobby boxes of 2019, 2021 and 2022 Topps Heritage High Number, 2021 Bowman Heritage hobby and some random extra packs as seen above.
The Breakdown: 24 packs per hobby box (one hit per HHN hobby box)
The Price: $19.99 per team
The Team Buzz Landed: Minnesota Twins (via random)
Grab Your Own Box: BlowoutCards.com for MLB
Initial Reaction: The Twins aren't necessarily a money team in this one, but there are some Hall of Famers in play here as well as some veterans and prospects that have had attention in the past. There's potential here with autos.
WHAT BUZZ LANDED ... (see notables in gallery below)
Total cards: 47
Base: 44
Veterans/retired (25) – Notables include Byron Buxton, Josh Donaldson, Gary Sanchez

Bowman Heritage Chrome Prospects (1) – Emmanuel Rodriguez
Autographs/Memorabilia: None
Final Thoughts: My other team in this break was the Nationals and I cleaned up there with extras and one of the autos in these boxes, so missing here wasn't as painful, though there was still potential with this team. Overall, I still could have done worse for sure as the volume here was a smidge higher than my other team last time so I suspect some teams could have landed less than this one ... though, at the same time, this was a low-price break that will be hit and miss based on the type of products and volume of hits (auto/mem).
Lot (Product) Grade: A- (good mix at a safe price but low odds on huge finds ... though there was one for a different team in this break)
Break Grade: C (I didn't land much this time other than some rookie/veteran volume and buyback)
