eBay Buzz Weekly Update: Big 2018 Bowman Draft ink, new WWE autos, retro Elvis Presley pulls, Pamela Anderson & more

ONE REASON TO RIP BOWMAN DRAFT ... 
The Item: Jarred Kelenic 2018 Bowman Draft Chrome Draft Picks Red Wave Autograph (/5)
The Price: $7,999.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The big prospect on a big card is a big draw for Bowman Draft every year and prospectors are shredding their boxes looking for Superfractors and more right now. One biggie already on eBay is this Jarred Kelenic Red Wave auto that has a hefty price tag attached. Is it too high? You never know, but a Kelenic Red (no Waving) allegedly already sold for $3,950 on eBay since this brand dropped.

A PIECE OF AMERICANA ... STRAIGHT FROM CANADA
The Item: Pamela Anderson 2011 Panini Americana Prime Time Stars Signature Materials card (/29)
The Price: $99.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: There are a number of autographs from this past Americana release that are a little more notable now than back when this set arrived -- David Carradine, Burt Reynolds, Leslie Nielsen, Margot Kidder, Kenny Baker, John Hurt, Erin Moran and George A. Romero among them -- but this card is not one of a star no longer with us. This one is a rarer insert hit of a notable name in the release that is, in my view, one of the better-designed sets in the product. Just seven people are on cards in this particular skip-numbered set with ink and material, but you can find the standard inserts for this set in basic retail packs. (See that link below ... call it a tip for some cheap ripping fun where memorabilia and numbered cards definitely are possible ... autographs likely at longer odds, too.) Finding hobby boxes of this one? Not so easy these days and that goes for a lot of past Americana releases and that should prompt you to grab any hits you're interested in if the price is right. You never know when you might see it again.

JUST ONE OF THE TREASURES
The Item: PSA 10 Kris Bryant 2015 Panini National Treasures patch auto (/99)
The Price: $3,499 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Demand for Kris Bryant stuff might not be as high as it was in the past, but there are a ton of cards that are still impressive and could have interest if the price is right from this brand for him and for others. This price might be too hefty but the key is that there are 98 others out there potentially found in boxes -- and check that link below. There are a ton of legendary names on big cards in these -- they're worth a look, especially considering the price now and the price of other boxes that have arrived in the years since.

KING'S RANSOMS NOT NEEDED
The Item: Elvis Presley 2008 Press Pass Elvis Lives Gold scarf card (/299)
The Price: $70 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Elvis Presley's presence in a number of past releases from Press Pass can surprise you when you compare what some of the cards go for vs. the odds in boxes vs. the prices on said boxes these days. Hobby boxes aren't that easy to find, but retail boxes (check the link below) can be found and can be very affordable. Atop that, even retail boxes can deliver memorabilia cards of Presley with relative ease as well as printing plates and autos of others connected to The King. You can easily rip sale-priced boxes and find some gems.

LEGENDARY PULL
The Item: Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle 2018 Topps Legends of WWE auto (/10)
The Price: $135.50 after 16 bids (four days remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This is one of the rarer cards from this new arrival from Topps that dropped this week and it has two of the tougher WWE autos today along with one of its most-decorated athletes in Kurt Angle who won Olympic gold in 1996 (with a broken freaking neck). Angle autos aren't tough to land, but the other two have been limited to signings on low-volume cards in just the last couple of years. This one should pick up steam in the coming days and is an auction to watch. This brand is a fun one that includes a good amount of hits and carries a slightly higher-end feel without a lofty price. There is a fun mix of big names from the past and present to be found in this one that make it a little more unique, too.
