THE ROYAL WEDDING'S BIGGEST CARD
The Item: 2012 Cryptozoic Fringe Seasons 1-2 Autographs Meghan Markle
The Price: $999 (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Beginning tomorrow, this American actress will potentially be known as Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex as she's marrying into England's Royal Family. This is one of just a handful of trading card appearances for her in this Fringe set and this once was a relatively inexpensive signature. Now? It's pricey and a number of people will undoubtedly be interested in these cards as the international spotlight will be all over the story of how she's ended up the bride and everything that entails tomorrow. Members of the Royal Family are not permitted to sign autographs, so there won't be more to come on that front.

TRADING CARDS
The Item:
A Cuyler Smith Trading Cards print of Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump
The Price: $59.95 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy:
The third wave of Trading Cards -- serial-numbered card-sized prints of memorable movie and TV characters -- hits today and these are fun, limited and affordable fantasy creations for fans of memorable reel-world stars. Buzz has picked up a number of these simply for fun the last couple years, but they're also something that a number of fans have bought to sell. This one is a card firmly stashed in Buzz's stash but it's also one that someone else has on eBay. It's not alone -- and many of them sell for much more than their original gallery price (roughly $15 for cards /90 apiece).

WORTH THE WAIT?
The Item: 2011 Topps USA Baseball Autographs #A32 Austin Meadows PSA 10
The Price: $95 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: After a long wait, this guy makes his MLB debut tonight in Pittsburgh five long years after the Pirates took him with the ninth pick in the 2013 MLB Draft. His earliest cardboard is even older than that -- he's got a number of 2011 USA Baseball cards from when he was a high-schooler on the 16U National Team. He's not set foot on a MLB field for an MLB game but he's already got more than 1,000 different cards and more than 300 autos -- this one was one of the first. I'm sure his first MLB prospect auto cards from 2013 will get plenty of attention, but this collector thinks this card is one of his better ones to grab on the cheap.

THE MOVIE STAR OF THE WEEKEND
The Item:
A CGC 9.8 copy of The New Mutants No. 98 signed by Rob Liefeld and Stan Lee
The Price: $13,950 (But-It-Now) or best offer
Why it’s Buzz-worthy:
This is the arrival of Deadpool and Domino who should have a ton more fans after the opening of Deadpool 2 this weekend on the big screen. (The one's on sale, too!) The book in this grade is a big-money book but add on the autograph of one of its creators and the mastermind of everything Marvel and this is a book that's going to command a big price. Will it sell? Maybe, maybe not, but it's impressive enough to land right here. (Anybody got a time machine so I can go spend $100 on these books? Ironically, my interest in comics arrived just two issues later for the finale of the series.)

A PIECE OF THE ACTION
The Item:
An MLB-authenticated game-used baseball from Ronald Acuña's first-homer game
The Price: $699.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy:
This baseball comes from the April 26 game between the Braves and Reds and it was used for a pair of at-bats in the game when the Braves rookie smacked his first home run. This was not the ball for that play, of course, but it was hit to him as noted on the play-by-play in the MLB Authentication. This seems like it's an ever-growing niche of baseball collecting where pieces are really somewhat one-of-kind with their trivial accuracy. Key players' early games and particularly balls that were hit should carry interest. (I'm pretty sure this baseball was sold by the Reds for less than $100... if you were lucky enough to claim it before someone else. The team sold balls like this from his debut game for $150.)
