What's buzz-worthy: Flawless takes to the college gridiron for another season with legends of the past and stars of the recent present with a celebration of Saturday action once again in a high-end package.

The Basics: Heisman winners, All-Americans and other stars from the last nine decades of college football get a new run on cardboard here. The big draw will be Rookie Patch Autographs with conference patches, bowl game patch and brand logos along with Premium Ink (/25) autographed cards from legends of the college game such as Barry Sanders, Bo Jackson and Lawrence Taylor. Those will have Silver (/20), Gold (/10), Emerald (/5) and 1/1 Black versions. All autos in this one will be limited to no more than 25 copies and they'll all either be on-card or cut autos. ... Young stars will get the spotlight in the Rookie Gems Signatures, Rookie Team Slogan Signatures and Flawless Dual Signatures sets. The duals will have base (/25), Sapphire (/15), Gold (/10) Emerald (/5) and 1/1 Black versions. ... The gem cards will include basic Diamonds (/20), Ruby (/10), Sapphire (/8), Emerald (/5) and Oversized Diamonds (1/1). There also will be Rookie Gems Signatures (/25) with Ruby (/20), Sapphire (/15), Gold (/10), Emerald (/5) and 1/1 Black parallels as well as Team Gems (1/1s) that use multiple gems in a team logo design. ... There also will be Dual Diamond double-patch auto cards (/25) that will have Silver (/20), Gold (/10), Emerald (/5) and 1/1 Black versions.  ... The boxes carry a suggested retail price of $1,250, which is actually $250 lower than last year.
