The Basics: The base set will once again be the familiar 300 cards capped by 50 short-prints -- all with an array of mini and full-size parallels. There will be Hot Boxes once again with a Silver Hot Box parallel possible and 1/1 Glossy parallel for the full-size cards. For the minis, which are one per pack, there will be the standard lineup of A&G backs (1:5), Black (1:10), no-numbers (/50), Brooklyn (/25), Wood (/1; hobby-only), Glossy (/1), Metal (/3; hobby-only for 150 players), Cloth cards (/10 for 150 players) and 1/1 printing plates. Also back will be the Mini Stained Glass (/25) variations for 150 players. ... The Relics are again back with a few design types. There will be full-size Relics and framed mini Relics as well as Pin Relics from "historic elections and events." Joining those will be DNA Relics with fossils, "Have Ball, Will Travel" Token Relics (/5, mass transit tokens) and 100 framed 1/1 original buybacks. ... On the autograph front, there will be auto Relic books and auto dual Relic books (both /10). ... The Framed autos will once again include past and present baseball players, other athletes, non-baseball celebs and "world's champions" with Black Frame parallels (/25) and Red ink versions. Also to be found will be 1/1 cut autos.

Rip Cards are back two per case with standard and double Rips as well as Boxloader Rips. Inside these will be original art, mini exclusives (351-400), mini Metal exclusives (/3), 1/1 mini Wood exclusives and 1/1 Stained Glass variation minis -- those again only found in box-topper Rips. ... Standard inserts are again a totally new lineup this year. There will be A Debut to Remember (30 MLB debuts), Longball Lore (epic diggers and big sluggers), Field Generals (legendary catchers), Down on The Farm (equipment and animals on the farm), Digging Deep (minerals, stones and metals ... with Relics /10 also possible) and Reach for The Sky! (skyscrapers) for standard-size inserts. For mini inserts, there will be Where Monsters Live ("spooky spots to avoid in the dark"), Nine Ways to First Base, Citadels & Safeholds (iconic structures), Buggin' Out! (bugs), Booming Cities (fast-growing cities) and Safari Nights (animals and more down in Africa). ... Rounding things out will be box-toppers, including topper autos (/15), Safari Sights (/500), N43s, N43 autos (/15) and the previously mentioned Rip Cards with three mini cards inside.
