What's buzz-worthy: Topps' high-end Star Wars brand drops with some inclusions for new stories and plenty of stars from throughout the galaxy of his franchise in a formula that's pretty much what collectors have come to expect in past years.

The Basics: Each box will once again include four five-card packs (a mini box) with two base cards, one parallel, one insert and one hit. Two autos will be found per box and one of those will be an on-card sig just like last year. ... For the base cards, it's again a 100-card set with 72-point stock used. Parallels will include Blue (one per pack), Green (/99), Purple (/50), Orange (/10), Black (/5) and 1/1 Gold as well as printing plates just like previous years. ... There also will be three insert sets again with a 40th anniversary set for Empire, Troopers of the Galactic Empire and The Wisdom of Yoda. Their parallels will include Rainbow Foil (/299), Canvas (/25), Wood (/10), Metal (/5) and 1/1 Gold Metal parallels as well as printing plates -- the same lineup as previous years. ... Autographs this time will include actors and behind-the-scenes players who helped bring things to life here with standard-auto parallels including Blue (/99), Rainbow (/50), Canvas (/25), Wood (/10), Silver Framed (/5) and 1/1 Gold Framed and printing plates. Behind The Scenes autos will have a slightly different lineup with no Blues. ... There will be dual (/50), triple (/25) and quad (/2) autos in this one. Dual parallels will include Canvas (/25), Wood (/10), Black (/5) and 1/1 Gold versions, while triples will have Wood, Black and Gold at the same volumes. Quads will not be paralleled. Also in the mix here will be autographed Pen Relic cards. An Autograph Book will have 10 autos in one 1/1 card. ... Other hits will include Dog Tag Medallion cards with and without autos that will have Purple (/50), Orange (/10), Black (/5) and 1/1 Gold parallels for both sets while also in the mix will be stamp cards with Green (/99), Purple (/50), Orange (/10), Black (/5) and 1/1 Gold versions along with dual-sourced fabric costume Relics with Purple. Orange, Black and Gold versions. Rounding things out will be sketch cards (standard and panoramic) as well as sketch card booklets.
