What's buzz-worthy: Topps' second Chrome release for the NCAA prospect ranks in pack form and with school colors and logos arrives with some of this season's biggest names inside, too.

The Basics: The base set of this one will include 200 top current stars on Chrome stock and they'll all have at least 21 parallels with some also having image variations. The parallels include standard Refractors four per box, X-Fractors two per box, Shimmers one per box, Stealth one per Breaker Box, and then Purple (/399), Purple Mini Diamond (/399), Aqua (/299), Blue (/199), Fuchsia Mini-Diamond (/150), Green (/99), Green Shimmer (/99), Yellow (/75), Gold (/50), Gold Shimmer (/50), Orange (/25), Orange Shimmer (/25), Orange Stealth (/25), Red Shimmer (/5), Red (/5) and 1/1 Black Shimmer cards as well as Superfractors. ... There will be five insert sets to chase here -- 1955 Bowman (four per box), Ramblin' Man (three per box), Saturday Superstars (/200), Unexpected Delights Early Risers (two per box) and then The Big Kahuna (one per case). Aqua, Gold, Orange and Supers will be in play for most but some with smaller rainbows. Unexpected will have Lava (/150) instead of Aqua. ... For Chrome autographs there will be Refractors (/499), Fuchsia Mini Diamonds (/150), Green (/99), Yellow (/75), Gold (/50), Gold Lava (/50), Orange (/25), Orange Shimmer (/25), Red (/5), Red Shimmer (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors. ... Future of Football autos (/50) also will be in play with Orange and Super versions and they will be joined by Bowman Unexpected autos (/99) only in Breaker boxes with Orange and Supers, too. The same parallels also will be in play for Ramblin' Man ink (/99) and 1955 Bowman (/99) autos. The Big Kahuna cards also will have ink (/TBD basic) with Superfractor parallels.
