What's buzz-worthy: Year Two of Opticgon cardboard arrives with the possibility of extra ink in boxes, plenty of inserts and, of course, a colorful rainbow of parallels to be found for past and present UFC stars.

The Basics: Collectors can expect to find 20 inserts or parallels per box here along with the auto and then base cards from a set where Panini promises an "expanded roster of Rated Rookies from across UFC’s ranks" that will include Bo Nickal, Jack Della Maddalena and Alex Pereira for starters. Details were not disclosed for its size or array of parallels, but among the parallels will be Pink Velocity (/79), Black Velocity (/39) and 1/1 Gold Vinyl cards for starters. ... Among the "ultra-rare" parallels will be Downtown! (not every case) and other inserts will include Light It Up and Rising Suns. (No other sets were teased.) ... Among the autos will be Rated Rookies, Authority of the Octagon (refs) and Opti-Graphs with some "first-time Panini UFC signers, including some UFC icons." ... Boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $150.
