What's buzz-worthy: Phoenix arrives for its eighth NFL campaign with another colorful and meaty base set, plenty of inserts and more inside.

The Basics: Beyond the hits, there will be four short-prints, two Silver parallels, 10 serial-numbered parallels, 12 Rookie Cards, two short-printed inserts and one Color Burst card per box. ... The base set size was not disclosed in advance this year, nor was the full array of parallels, but some will include Silver, Red and Lava and for rookies parallels tease were Fire & Ice, Color Burst and Dream Weaver, which is noted as a case hit. Also listed as a case-level chase are Metropolis, En Fuego, Archetype and Phoenician inserts. ... Among the hits will be RPS rookie autograph jerseys, Mythical auto-mem cards and Paragon patch autos. ... These boxes carry a suggested retail price of $200.

Update: There also will 10-pack H2 boxes for this release (20 boxes per case, $100 per box SRP) with 80 cards inside. They'll pack three base short-prints, two H2 Silvers, eight serial-numbered H2 parallels, eight inserts, one Seismic insert and 20 rookies per box. H2-exclusive parallels will include Red, Purple, Orange, Fire & Ice, Green, Black and Gold Seismics along with H2-exclusive versions of Flame Throwers and Fire Forged inserts for starters.
