What's buzz-worthy: "One of the most-treasured releases every year from Topps" is back once again with the same format as previous years but with new players and plenty of hits -- in fact, it's once again nothing but hits.

The Basics: Two new autograph types this year are White and Black PolychromatINK cards (/15 max) that will use "a variety of ink colors" with metallic shades in play for the Black set. ... Joining them on the autograph front there will standard Diamond Icons autos (/25 max), with Purple (/10), Red (/5) and 1/1 Gold parallels as well as Icons Of The Diamond acetate autos (/25) with Canary (/10), Black (/5) and 1/1 Pristine versions. Cut autographs will be limited to four copies per card with a 1/1 Gold parallel, while Immortal cuts also will be 1/1 creations. ... Auto Relics will include Jumbo Patches (/25 max) with the Purple-Red-Gold rainbow, single-player auto Relics (/10 max) with Red and Gold versions, single-player dual-team auto Relics (/10 max) with the same parallels, single-player dual auto Relics (/10 max) with the same parallels. Also in play will be Autographed Diamond Relics (/10) with a 1/1 Gold as well as Autographed Diamond In The Rough Relics (/5) that will have an uncut diamond joining the ink. These will only have 1/1 Gold parallels. In there once again will be dual-player auto diamond Relic books (/3) with a 1/1 Gold version as well as Pre-eminent Pieces Relics (/3) where players sign directly on pieces of game-used cleats embedded into the cards. They will also have Gold parallels. There also will be dual-player auto Relics (/10) with Reds and Golds. ... For standard Relics, there will be single-player cards (/10), dual-player books (/10), Diamond In The Rough Relics (/5), Pre-eminent Pieces (/10) with 1/1 spikes versions and MLB logo patches that are 1/1 cards. Relics will have Red (/5) and 1/1 Gold parallels.
