What's buzz-worthy: The World Baseball Classic gets a standalone in-pack release that showcases stars from around the world, includes plenty of parallels and offers up ink as well -- though not in every pack.

The Basics: Each $29.99 (via Topps) pack includes 20 cards with two parallels and two Flag of a Nation inserts. Autographs are found every third box. The base set is 50 cards and the parallel lineup here is deep with Black, Dark Red (/150), Aqua Blue (/99), Green (/75), Blue (/50), Yellow (/25), Orange (/10), Red (/5) and 1/1 Gold. ... Flags of a Nation cards will showcase 20 countries with Yellow, Orange, Red and Gold parallels at the same volumes. ... Ink here will also have parallels to go with the standard sigs. The parallels will include Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Red and Gold at same volumes. ... Among the stars in the base set are Juan Soto, Jeremy Pena, Shohei Ohtani, Wander Franco, Munetaka Murakami (56 homers last year in Japan), Mike Trout, Bobby Witt Jr. and Julio Rodriguez. Among the autos? Franco, Harry Ford, Lars Nootbaar, Pete Alonso, Gleyber Torres, Trea Turner, Xander Bogaerts and Vinnie Pasquantino to name a few -- see them all at the link above.
