What's buzz-worthy: This sci-fi franchise's newest cardboard drops with plenty of ink -- and an inscription auto in every box -- for the long-running hit show.

The Basics: There will be standard autos (three per box) and inscription autos (one per box) here with the teased signers noted below. ... The base set will be 117 cards and also in play will be 30 Holiday Special, nine Amy Pond Companion puzzles, nine, Rory Williams Companion puzzles, nine Clara Oswald Companion puzzles, nine River Song Companion puzzles, nine The Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) puzzles, nine The War Doctor (John Hurt) puzzles, 18 Allies of the Doctor, 19 Adversaries of the Doctor and 1/1 sketch cards to be found. Among the artists will be Yara Alves, Dan Bergren, Norman Jim Faustino, Kevin Graham, Wei Ho, Sara Manzoni, Ashley Marsh and Huy Truong. There also will be two metal case-topper cards -- the 11th and the War Doctors. ... There will be a six-case incentive card, which will be a dual-auto for David Tennant (The Doctor) and Catherine Tate (Donna Noble). Nine-case bonuses will be a triple auto by Matt Smith (The Doctor), Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) and Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams). All 12-case buyers direct from the company will get an Incentive Box that will have autograph exclusives including Matt Smith, three sets of printing plates, numbered parallels and more. ... There also will be a binder with promo card for this release.
