What's buzz-worthy: Topps turns its Garbage Pail Kids franchise to the punk rock realm teaming up with and taking on the iconic long-time band in a release that's been delayed but will include autographs and Relics.

The Basics: The details are lean here in terms of the per-box format but the checklist reveals 100 standard cards (A and B names) and then a lineup of inserts. Those will include B-Sides, Sweet Children, Tribute to East Bay, Battle of the Bands, Dookie: 30 Years, Album Art, American Idiot SPs and Standing Room Only. There will be solo autos for all three members -- Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, Tré Cool -- as well as a triple-auto card to chase, which also will have a variation. Joining them will be four Tour Relics cards, six autographed Tour Relic cards and a pair of autographed triple Tour Relic cards.

Boxes opened at $79.99 via Topps.

Update: Full parallel details are in and are in the gallery below. Triple autos are limited to 25 copies, while American Idiot triple autos are /5. Relics will include picks, guitar strings, drumsticks and drum heads. Autos and Relics also will have 1/1 Foilfractor parallels for all six types of cards.
