What's buzz-worthy: The early teasers are here and the return of Bowman NBA will be one unlike any other -- it also will include college stars from both the men’s and women’s ranks on fully licensed NCAA cards within those same packs.

The Basics: Full details will be revealed at a later date, but teasers include nothing but Chromed cards for the release -- note that its name is not Bowman Chrome -- and among them are Garbage Pail Kids, Spotlight, Anime, Opening Statement and some other looks familiar from recent years. ... Among showcased college stars will be AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, Caleb Wilson, Mikel Brown Jr., Nate Ament, Madison Booker, Sienna Betts and Juju Watkins.

The base set will be 200 cards with Chrome parallels and Red RC and Etched in Glass variations. The 100-card prospect set also will have a Chrome version. Among the inserts will be Talent Tracker, Gen Next, Very Important Prospects, Bowman Verified, ROY Favorites, Hobby Stars and Young Kings. Among “case hit” inserts will be RetroFractors, Bowman Spotlights, Crystallized, Anime, and Bowman Garbage Pail Kids. ... For autographs, there will be Chrome ink that’s joined by Future Script, Buzz Factor, Opening Statement, Timeless Touch and dual autos.

According to Topps, a hobby box will contain one NBA and one college auto, while every jumbo hobby box will contain two of each. Delight boxes will contain two NBA autographs and one college auto. Hobby boxes opened at $339.99 via Topps.
