What's buzz-worthy: Topps returns to the NBA hardwood for the first time since 2009-10 as it tips off a lengthy new deal with the league that it first made cards for back in the 1950s. "It's our game now," read a company tease and reveal of the inclusions this time around.

Keep reading for more info and a gallery of what's to come.

The Basics: The base set here will be 300 cards -- checklist and odds are linked above -- with past and present stars in play while using the MLB flagship design here. Among the finds will be Golden Mirror photo variations, "ultra-rare" Home Court and Comic Court case hits, Rookie Photoshoot autos and ink from Victor Wembanyma and LeBron James in their NBA threads for the first time and the first time in a long time, respectively. Rookies will get runs on 1980-81 designed autos, while player number variations will be limited to those numbers.

Also in play will be Clear parallels, team color parallels and Blackout parallels Among inserts will be The Daily Dribble, New School, 1980-81 Topps Chrome, Levitation, No Limit, Stars Of The NBA, Rise To Stardom, MVP Vault, Sonic Boom, Sole Ambition, 8-Bit Ballers, Generation Now, Power Players, Clutch City Prospects, All Kings, Hardwood Stars, Companion,  Oversized, Hidden Gems, Scan & Slam, Social Media Followback, Limited Stock Legends, Class of '25, Big Box Ballers and 1980-81 Topps.

Among the autos will be Fanatics Authentic redemptions, Real One, 1980-81 Topps (regular, Chrome and triples), Marks Of Excellence, Contemporary Marks, Havoc Marks, Topps Notch, New Applicants, Signed & Sealed, Rookie Photo Shoot (single and dual), Retail Rush, Shopping Spree and a Spike Lee auto. ... Among Relics will be Rise To The Occasion, Own The Game, Rookie Roundball Remnants, Franchise Fabrics, Swish & Stitch, Woven Wonders, Flagship, Store Exclusive and Retail Ripper.

Update (Oct. 2): There will be at least four packaging formats for this one -- hobby, jumbo, 16-pack megas (20 per case) and 12-pack blasters (40 per case) -- with Black Rainbow parallels only in hobby. Retail boxes will be the home to Holo parallels and blasters will include Season Tip-off parallels. Hobby boxes will open at $109.99 via Topps pre-order, while jumbos will be $229.99.

Parallel info and release date will be added here once formally revealed.
