What's buzz-worthy: A new baseball season will get a new line from Leaf with stars from the past and present all in play and with some of the biggest surprises possible within its "premium" hits-only boxes.

The Basics: There will be three multi-auto cards per case and among the possible finds here will be Cloud Nine nine-player booklets for both autographs and memorabilia as well as 12-player books and cut autos from Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson and Ted Williams for starters. Among the biggest names for memorabilia? Ruth, Roger Maris, Ty Cobb, Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente, “Shoeless” Joe Jackson and Sadaharu Oh. ... Among the notable memorabilia card sets will be Name Tag cards that have stitched nameplates from game-used pants for stars such as Maris, Joe McCarthy and Juan Soto. ... Other hits here will include Personalized (inscription) autos, Super Team autos, Legendary Season memorabilia, Tradition autos, Decade Dominators, Team For The Ages, Future Foundation autos, Signature Seasons, Cut Signature Seasons, Time Capsule, Mid-summer Magic (All-Star Games) and more. Some sets in this one will be printed on Leaf Metal stock and some sets will cater to prospecting fans, while others are all about legends -- a mix of the players can be seen in the gallery below.
