What's buzz-worthy: Absolute arrives for another NFL season with plenty of the familiar, plenty of Kaboom! and more for collectors to chase.

The Basics: Each pack will include five cards with at least one of the three packs in a box including a Rookie Premiere Material autograph just like previous years. Also dropping in every box? Six base cards, two parallels, one Rookie Card and one other insert just like last time. Parallels and the set size were not detailed in advance, though Red parallels will only be in hobby boxes. ... Among hits will be Tools Of The Trade, Absolute Heroes, Ground Hogs, All-Pro Souvenirs autos and, of course, rookie ink for starters. ... Among the inserts will be 1/1 Glass cards and a few types of "case hit" Kaboom! cards with standard, a horizontal version, a Super Bowl version and then Gold parallels. ... Boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $285.

Update (Oct. 3): A 2025 Absolute Football Countdown Calendar is also on the way, set to arrive on Nov. 12 with 24 packs of three cards and some plaid parallels and other cards (TBD) also in play. More details to come if released in advance.

Update (Oct. 21): There also will be six-pack (66-card) hobby blaster and six-pack (42-card) hobby mega boxes for this one with megas being the home to one autograph or memorabilia card per box. Blasters will include one of those hits in every other box. Full details for other inclusions are at the end of the gallery.
