What's buzz-worthy: Rookies & Stars hits the gridiron for another season with a mix that includes a little bit of everything -- at least six Optichrome cards per box for starters -- along with rookies and, well, stars.

The Basics: A typical box here once again will include 60 cards -- five serial-numbered cards, 12 inserts, 12 Rookie Cards and six Optichrome cards along with the hits and a selection of base cards from a 200-card set. That's the same as last time and parallels were not noted in advance, though Purples will be hobby-only finds.  ... Among the possible finds will be Crusade, Touchdown Club, Draft Class, Stellar Rookies, Artistry In Motion and Thrillers. ... Among the hits will be autographed parallels, Airborne autos and teased auto-mem cards. ... Boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $225.
