What's buzz-worthy: Stars from the past and present UConn Huskies basketball programs -- men's and women's teams -- hit cardboard from Panini in a release that's got plenty of stuff to chase.

The Basics: There will be two Panini parallels, one Prizm Camo card and one Diamond Plate card per 36-card hobby box along with the ink and base cards from a 50-card base set carrying Panini Contenders branding. The final 15 cards there will be short-printed Legendary Contenders cards.

Joining them will be a number of insert sets -- School Colors, Campus Legends, Prizm, Student Orientation, Fearless, Fireworks, On Campus, Color Blast, Thunder and Profiles. ... Autographs (checklist TBD) will be branded as Private Signings cards. ... Profiles and Thunder cards are stated to be "SSP" cards only in hobby boxes, while On Campus and Color Blast sets are also "Super Short-Prints." Autographs will be randomly inserted into blasters, which guarantee a trio of parallels -- one Donut card and two Red-White-Blue cards.

Some of the notables here include Paige Bueckers, Sarah Stong, Solo Ball, Alex Karaban, Azzi Fudd, Breanna Stewart, Jen Rizzotti, Rebecca Lobo, Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore, Tina Charles, Ray Allen, Rip Hamilton, Caron Butler, Jim Calhoun and Katie Lou Samuelson. ... Hobby boxes carry a starting price of $99, while blasters carry a $29.99 suggested retail price.
