What's buzz-worthy: Topps' hit-driven brand showcasing the stars of the Octagon is back for another round with a mix of men's and women's stars in there along with a variety of looks based on just the early teasers alone.

The Basics: Topps says Knockout is "bringing hard-hitting intensity and hobby heat." ... Autographs here will be signed on-card and inked sets will include AKA Ink, Full Contact, Fearless Fighters and at least two other designs to start. There will be booklet cards and Relics in the mix, too, some with autographed versions. ... Among inserts will be Inception.

Update (Sept. 9): Each eight-card pack will include four base cards, one serial-numbered parallel, one Inception insert and one other insert along with the hit. The base set will be 100 cards with parallels (see gallery), while basic inserts will include Knockout Artists, Final Face-off, Ferocity, The Ultimate Fighter, Fight DNA also with parallels in gallery. Inception inserts will have Red (/25), Gold (/8) and 1/1 Platinum versions.

Basic autos will include Knockout, Fearless Fighter, Octagon Warriors and Full Contact and these will have Blue (/50), Red (/25), Gold (/8) and 1/1 Platinum parallels. AKA Ink will be "limited" and have the same parallels but no Blue version. Also in there will be Dynamic Duals (/25), Triumphant Trios (/10) and quad booklets (/10). Three auto sets will start at /99 max -- Collageagraphs, Lasting Impact and 2012 Throwbacks -- with Red (/25), Gold (/8) and 1/1 Platinum on all but the Collageagraphs (no Red).

Autographed Relics will include duals, Knockout and fight mats (all /199 max) with Blue, Red, Gold and Platinum parallels. They will be joined by Champions auto Relic books and Bitter Rivals dual auto Relic books (both /10). Unsigned Relics will be /175 max and include five sets -- Knockout, 1-2 Combo, Momentous Materials, fight mats and All-in Relics. Each of these will have the Blue, Red, Gold and Platinum parallel lineup.
