What's buzz-worthy: Topps opens up its second campaign in this newest run with the WWE license the same way it did its first -- Chrome.

The Basics: Full info is still to come but some of the teasers include a few signed sets -- with inscriptions in the mix as well as dual-auto cards -- and insert sets that include Eras of Excellence, Gamut, Signalz, Let’s Go, Focus Reel, Feel The Pop. A trio of 30th anniversary inclusions are planned for the nWo, The Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. There will be 12 eight-card packs per hobby box. ... Mega boxes (20 per case) will include six packs of eight cards with 10 X-Fractors per box. Blaster boxes will include seven four-card packs and three Diamond Plate Refractors only found there.

Hobby boxes opened at $269.99 via Topps with megas at $59.99 and blasters at $29.99.

 

Update (March 17): Hobby boxes will include a Refractor and one insert per eight-card pack. Beyond those 12 times apiece per box along with the autos, there will be four serial-numbered inserts. There will be one case hit and two House of Cards inserts per case. Meanwhile, a Delight box will include 12 cards, including at least one Geometric parallel along with six serial-numbered parallels, one insert and the three (3) Autographs with at least one of those being a Geometric.
