Jackson Holliday debuts -- get his baseball cards in these sets

It only took 10 games in the minors -- where he hit .333 with two homers and nine RBI -- to get a Holliday in Boston tonight.

No, it's not Roger Dorn Night or Big Papi Funko Pop! day (that's Sept. 9) ... it's the MLB debut of No. 1 prospect Jackson Holliday, an infielder for the Baltimore Orioles and son of a former big-leaguer.

Holliday's Rookie Cards will arrive later this year, in theory, and his Topps Now debut will inevitably arrive tomorrow no matter what, but he's already appeared on more than 2,000 different baseball cards since he was the first pick in the 2022 MLB Draft.

In fact, his certified autograph total alone is pushing 1,000 cards and that's thanks to early Perfect Game prep all-star sets, USA Baseball appearances as well as a number of prospect releases -- some from before draft day.

Holliday's earliest cards are found in a trio of 2021 Leaf Perfect Game All-American releases -- some cards with more of a full signature -- and then the floodgates opened in 2022 with cards in USA Baseball Stars & Stripes, Bowman Draft/Sapphire, Prizm Draft, Bowman's Best, Leaf Trinity, Leaf Vivid, Onyx Nimbus and Elite Extra Edition. With parallels in play, you'll find him most often in Bowman Draft by far but also often in the USA Baseball set and Trinity.

His 2023 presence includes cards in Bowman Chrome, Bowman Sterling, Donruss, Leaf Signature Series, Goodwin Champions, Panini Chronicles, National Treasures, Immaculate Collection, Select and Flawless -- plenty of stuff to chase as he arrives. He hasn't appeared on any 2024 baseball cards at this point.

Most of the big sales and asking prices over on eBay are for his 2022 Bowman Draft rarities and autos in slabs as that's his first prospect card in an MLB uniform, while bargain-hunters just wanting his auto at a lower price might check the Panini releases or the USA Baseball set where everything basic is on Optichrome stock and the hits can have more advanced stuff in play without breaking the bank -- plus it's loaded with other notable prospects if you don't land Holliday. For MLB autos, Bowman's Best tends to fly under the radar compared to Chrome.

A tiny sampling of what's out there can be seen below.
