Buzz Buys: Derrick Henry, Baby Yoda, Vladdy 2.0, WWE stars, TV & movie icons, The Goonies, Super Bowl winners & more
Buzz buys and busts a lot of boxes right here for Buzz Breaks, but one of my goals is to rip a little less and talk more about cardboard that I -- and you -- might like. One way to do that? Simple show and tell -- present a few pick-ups and say why they captured my attention.
So, with all that said, here are a few Buzz Buys ... and this time around it's mostly stuff found on the affordable side.

WORKHORSE PLATES
The Card: Derrick Henry 2016 Panini Spectra Plates & Patches black printing plate (1/1)
The Price: About $9
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: We'll know soon whether this monster of the gridiron this season will be playing in the Super Bowl for the first time, but I figured I'd lead off with him since he's had a huge year. I'd also let this serve as a reminder that there are some solid bargains to be found among stuff that's not brand new and that there are types of cards that seem to be overlooked. This card fits that bill. Yes, printing plates can have less appeal depending on the color of the plate and the design of the cards, but they seem to be overlooked by many for some unknown reason to me. They are 1/1s available in four different colors/separations but people don't seem to always act like they are when selling or buying. This price works for me and for my collecting tastes, especially when you consider this is also from his rookie year.

Burt Reynolds' career sparked plenty of cards and autographs
The Longest Yard, Boogie Nights, The Cannonball Run, Deliverance, Stroker Ace, Hooper.
Those are just some of the movies that actor Burt Reynolds helped bring to life -- and he had plenty more television roles atop those in a career that began in the late-1950s -- but he'll always be known for one iconic role. He was "The Bandit" in Smokey and The Bandit, a tale of the ultimate beer run led by Bo "Bandit" Danville and his battles with the cast of characters who tried -- but failed -- to chase him down.
That chase will continue on film forever without him, though, as Reynolds died Thursday. He was 82.
Superman's Lois Lane, Margot Kidder, dies at age 69
One of the biggest names from 1970s/1980s comic book movies is gone.
Margot Kidder, who played super-reporter Lois Lane in the first four Superman films died on Sunday at her home in Livingston, Mont. She was 69.
Her acting career began in the late-1960s and included roles up until last year, but she's best-known for her time across from Christopher Reeve as Clark Kent/Superman beginning with the landmark 1978 film.
"Nothing prepares anyone for that sudden thing of being world-famous, it was such a shock," she said in a past interview. "It wasn't something I really liked or something I was very good at. I didn't realize how good the movie was until I [had] seen it at the premier in Washington."Black November Wave 5 is here ... and here are five deals to consider
If you hadn't noticed, there are a number of boxes with discounted prices right now over on the mothership as BlowoutCards.com is in the midst its Black November sales now.
Wave 5 is here and many of the discounts were dramatic enough that Buzz had to sit down and ponder the possibilities in many of the boxes and cases -- and here are five boxes/cases that caught this collector’s eye. (And this wave was so big that there could easily be five more ... check it out.)
2016 Panini Absolute Football retail Premium Box
At this sale price, this one is definitely worth checking out since last year's rookie crop is stacked and this one includes two exclusive hits -- one blue auto and one blue memorabilia card -- in every box. This one is a simple retail take on a memorabilia-focused favorite of mine and there could be even more retail-only colors found in boxes, too. If those are big names such as Dak Prescott or Ezekiel Elliott -- or any of the other newcomers that are making a mark -- you're way ahead with this price. Either way, it's a fun rip -- and you can grab it by the case, too.Keep reading for a few more picks among this newest wave.
Adam West's TV legacy goes far beyond Batman -- and he's got a variety of autos for fans to covet
The man behind the mask and the mayor of Quahog has died.
Adam West, best-known as television's Batman in the 1960s but recently found among those on the Family Guy cast for the last 17 years, had been battling leukemia. He was 88.
"Our dad always saw himself as The Bright Knight and aspired to make a positive impact on his fans' lives," his family said in a statement. "He was and always will be our hero."
So, about that odd Willie Nelson Americana memorabilia card
Willie Nelson couldn't wait to get on the road again, going places he'd never been and seeing things he may never see again.
And we're pretty sure he never saw this.
It's a 2008 Donruss Americana Celebrity Cuts Materials Prime card and a small number of them have been pulled via BlowoutTV recently with a detail that many people might have missed.
What is it? Well, this is card No. 97 in Celebrity Cuts and a look at card No. 96 on that checklist as well as the autographed version of this card offer some clues ... keep reading.
