Fast Five: NFL players who impressed Buzz in Week 9
Fast Five is a quick list that might offer a basic starting point for a themed collection or new focus -- five things that could be fun for a beginner or a new way to add something to your stash if you're a grizzled veteran.

ANOTHER BIG WEEK
Jonathan Taylor -- RB, Colts (Rookie Cards in 2020 boxes)
To me, this week was all about the ground game at least when it came to the standouts and that started with this guy's monster showing on Thursday night. He had 19 carries for 172 yards and two TDs in a 45-30 win over the Jets. If you're a regular reader of this piece each week, then you have seen him before -- and every time he has a big game like this there are fewer and fewer steals to be found out there as more and more collectors know his name. He's reached 100 yards four times this year and this was his best day, yet though he had a 145-yard, two-TD game last month. He's got 821 yards and eight TDs on the ground this year and had a TD catch as part of a 116-yard game last month. This former second-round pick is a must-grab if you're watching football cards right now though Marlon Mack's arrival and then poof should be kept in mind, too.Keep reading for four more making up the list this time.

A STAR OFF THE RADAR?
Kyler Murray -- QB, Arizona Cardinals (Rookie Cards in 2019 boxes)
He's put up big numbers in the past -- 7,982 yards and 50 TDs in his career -- but the opener was a big one as the Cardinals knocked off the Tennessee Titans 38-13 with him throwing for 289 yards and four TDs. Was that expected? Maybe, maybe not. (I didn't.) He's still pricey but my gut feeling is that other QBs from recent years might be getting a little more attention than Murray. Sure, he's pricey -- most younger QBs are -- but I think if you find some cheaper options here there is potential with a successful season. I think he's easily the top dog on his team for cardboard.Keep reading for four more making up the list this time.
eBay Buzz: Zion Williamson sparks bidding frenzies, huge Kris Bryant stash, Bo Bichette, Kyler Murray & Pamela Anderson
Have you seen the latest cool or interesting items on eBay? If not, you just might see some of those here every week as we're launching a weekly version of our eBay Buzz pieces that pop up from time to time. We’ll spotlight some items that have a story or just wow us with how much interest it might have — and we’re not just talking baseball cards, either.

ALLLLLL ABOARD?
The Item: Zion Williamson 2019-20 Panini Contenders Draft Picks College Ticket parallel (/5)
The Price: $50,000 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The Zion packs are here and there are a number of possibilities with the various parallels in this one -- and there are a number of them that are rare like this card. Will this price be hit? Well, big things are also possible for NBA phenoms -- and there are other active auctions that are higher (seriously, hit that link below) for the No. 1 overall draft pick. So ... maybe. Part of me wants to cite the arrivals of Shaq and LeBron James in comparison to this but the hype train just seems to be bigger and pricier than those Hall of Famers. Will it last? We'll see -- again, anything seems possible with NBA cards and the global demand without a massive global supply -- but the key is to ride the track however you want to as a seller, buyer or collector. We have some time before NBA Hoops arrives with him in pro colors so the Duke stuff will get plenty of attention until that time.

Sunday Superstars: NFL's Week 13 cardboard icons include Phillip Lindsay, Chase Edmonds, Dante Pettis & more
Next week, he'll probably join the 1,000-yard club.
Denver Broncos rookie RB Phillip Lindsay had a day Sunday against the Bengals with 19 carries for 157 yards and two TDs in a 24-10 win. That upped him to 937 rushing yards and eight TDs for the year -- not bad for an undrafted former University of Colorado star. His first Broncos autos are still on the way -- 2018 Panini Contenders is one possible debut that has been teased -- while he has has just 29 autographed cards -- all in his college threads -- found only in Panini America's Elite Draft and Contenders Draft Picks as well as three cards in Leaf Draft. >> Check out his autos on eBay

First Pat Tillman certified autograph arrives in 2017 Certified Cuts
It's a simple autograph signed years ago with a ballpoint pen on what was likely an index card, but it's a piece of hobby history.
It's Pat Tillman's first certified autograph and it's going to be pulled by someone soon from a pack of 2017 Donruss Certified Cuts.
All 2016 Flawless Emmitt Smith jersey cards include PROVA tracking
Emmitt Smith's memorabilia cards found in boxes of 2016 Panini Flawless football cards arriving today will include an added piece of authentication and information unique to his cards thanks to a new partnership between Panini and his company, PROVA Group.
Each card will have a SmarTag that will tell the owner what jersey the piece came from as part of a database linked to a smartphone app.
Sunday Superstars: Week 5 notables include Ezekiel Elliott, Tom Brady, T.Y. Hilton, Sammie Coates & more
While there might be a quarterback controversy brewing in The Big D, there's no doubting who the top RB is for the Dallas Cowboys after a 30-17 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
It's Ezekiel Elliott and his 134-yard, two-touchdown day has cemented him as one of the front-runners among rookies this season -- on a historic level, too.
According to Elias, his 546 rushing yards this season are the fifth-best total in NFL history for the first five games of a player's career. The only better starts are Eric Dickerson (645 yards), Adrian Peterson (607), Todd Gurley (575) and Billy Sims (560). That's not bad company -- and that's good news for Elliott's cardboard given how Gurley looked last year.

Dennis Green is who we thought he was -- a coach with very few cards
"They are who we thought they were" may be a sound bite he's remembered for, but Dennis Green also will be remembered as being what many thought he was.
A pretty decent football coach.
The former Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals leader died from an apparent heart attack on Friday at age 67. He last coached a decade ago with the Cardinals, going 5-11 to cap his 13-year coaching resume with 113 wins and 94 losses.
NFL coaching pioneer signs for Topps' Allen & Ginter baseball set
She's an NFL pioneer as the league's first female coach, and she'll have her first certified autographs in an upcoming Topps baseball card set.
She's Dr. Jennifer Welter and her autographs will be found in 2016 Topps Allen & Ginter when it arrives on July 20.
Buzz Poll: Which remaining NFL quarterback is best on cardboard?
We're down to four NFL teams and we get a marquee matchup in the AFC Championship Game between quarterbacks Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
Plenty has and will be said about that one -- and we have a likely league MVP playing in the NFC title game in Cam Newton -- but we simply have a different question here.

Five NFL coaches get spotlight after signing for 2015 Panini Contenders
At least one of them is no longer with his team, but there are five "Rookie Cards" in 2015 Panini Contenders that collectors might not expect to see.
And their autographs might go for more than you might expect, too.
Why? They're NFL coaches -- and they, for the most part, don't have any other certified autograph cards.
So, who gets the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year award?
The biggest driver on football cards these days is the Rookie Card and now that the regular season is over most of those big-name newcomers are done for the year.
So, naturally, that makes us wonder who get the Rookie of the Year nod? We'll focus on offense since it matters the most when it comes to cards. (On defense Buzz thinks it will probably go to Kansas City's Marcus Peters, who tied for the NFL lead with eight interceptions and two TDs.)
But on offense it's not as easy.
Buzz Poll: Are Pro Football Hall of Fame mini busts cool or creepy?
Among the items in the Pro Football Hall of Fame's online gift shop are a series of five mini busts that Buzz couldn't help but be drawn to.
Why? Buzz can't figure out whether they are cool or creepy.
David Johnson, Josh Norman & Danny Woodhead among NFL's most Buzz-worthy players in Week 15
It doesn't take much for a running back to establish himself quickly these days -- and it doesn't take much for one to fade into obscurity, either -- but one started that two-part journey with a big arrival game of sorts under the Sunday Night Football spotlight.
It's Arizona's David Johnson, who ran for a league-leading 187 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-17 win over the Eagles.
It was his third straight week of 92 yards or more but he'd gone scoreless in those other games, leaving him off Buzz's radar -- also probably since he's a Cardinal, not on a team that gets much hobby attention. You can find his RCs throughout this year's NFL lineup from Panini America and Topps. For the season, he has 517 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
