Can't collect what you want in 2020? Check out this story ...
Are you struggling with the card economy right now? If so, you're probably not alone but things should (hopefully) get closer to "normal" in the coming months or next year.
That key piece of everything -- supply and demand -- is a big part of pretty much everybody's collecting existence right now whether they are a collector, a flipper or a dealer. Finding boxes is a challenge. Affording boxes? Probably a challenge for many, too. Demand for seemingly everything new in wax form is partly elevated due to hot new players like Zion Williamson, Luis Robert and Joe Burrow and then young veterans such as Patrick Mahomes, Luka Doncic and Ronald Acuña Jr. Old guys like LeBron James, Tom Brady and even Michael Jordan have had their moments this year in different ways, too, with all of their successes and then their card sales drawing attention. Also fueling things are returning collectors, new collectors, bot-buyers scooping up plenty of stuff and holding it all, and, of course, all of this is exacerbated by the coronavirus putting a dent in manufacturers' ability to flat-out make more cardboard for a few reasons.
So, why does a three-year old Sasha Banks wrestling card from Topps appear here? Here's one tale of trying to collect in 2020.

Panini America relaxes hobby shop online-selling policies; Upper Deck has yet to comment on providing dealer assistance
Brick-and-mortar hobby shops -- the heart of the hobby for years and one of several options for collectors these days -- are facing some potentially uncertain times right now and in the coming weeks because of the effects that Coronavirus disease, or COVID-19, will have on their walk-in sales.
Panini America sent an email to its brick-and-mortar dealers on Wednesday, giving them notice that it's allowing them to relax their online-selling policy for the next 45 days, a move that aims to help shops bridge problems or potentially avoid short-term issues that could have taken hold -- or still could be to come -- with their businesses. They are now being allowed to sell newly released Panini products online so they can reach a wider audience beyond their shop's typical clientele.

Stay safe: Basic facts on Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19
After a shocking day in the sports world that included the NBA suspending its season for an unknown amount of time, March Madness set to go on without fans in the stands and other college leagues simply suspending their seasons, Blowout Cards wanted to offer some basics to help make sure that our customers are as safe or as prepared as they can be with Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19.
Here are some basics on what exactly it is, according to the Centers of Disease Control and World Health Organization.
What is COVID-19?
According to the Centers for Disease Control, this is a new coronavirus not previously identified. This virus is not the same as coronaviruses that commonly cause mild illnesses like the common cold. The COVID-19 name includes CO for “corona,” VI for “virus” and D for “disease.” There are many types of human coronaviruses. What’s its origin and scope so far?
According to the CDC, the World Health Organization identified COVID-19 in mid-February as it was first identified in Wuhan, China, with the first infections linked to a live animal market. Since that time, though, it has spread to more than 114 counties and killed more than 4,000 worldwide with the WHO calling it a pandemic as of Wednesday. This is the first pandemic, according to the WHO, since since the H1N1 “swine flu” back in 2009. Countries most affected by this virus so far include China, Italy, Iran and South Korea — more than 90 percent of its cases at this time.Board Buzz: Must-read threads on Blowout Forums (March 11)
