COVID-19
Ticket Stud or Ticket Dud? You decide ... here's Chapter 6
With these Ticket Stud or Ticket Dud stories I'm turning just a tiny bit of that energy just a few degrees away from cards (we'll still have plenty of them here) for a different kind of cardboard. What am I doing? Simple ... this is an occasional dip into some random ticket lots -- a show and tell showing something small with a story.
This time? Something non-sports that snuck into a sports ticket lot ... and it's another set of phantom tickets, too. (Deep reading if you don't know what that means.)
Keep reading to see the details this time ... and tell me if you think it's a Ticket Stud or a Ticket Dud.

Call this one a practical buy ... a bulk purchase that's worth it -- or maybe a Buzz Break that can't be beat.

The National tentatively rescheduled for December
This year's National Sports Collectors Convention -- if it happens -- has been rescheduled for Dec. 12-16 in Atlantic City, N.J., according to an announcement from the show promotors on Saturday afternoon.
The move will hinge upon health officials' guidelines for the region with the ultimate decision on whether to cancel this year's show to come in mid-September.

With 2020 Bowman awaiting release but in COVID-19 limbo sitting in its near-final stages down in Texas at closed printing facilities, Topps has looked another direction in an effort to get some new prospects' baseball cards into collectors hands sooner.
It's a First Edition 2020 Bowman that will be found in 10-card packs soon and was teased by the company on Wednesday.
Panini on COVID-19: Printing has stopped but not production
Panini America's Dallas, Texas-based operation is working through the COVID-19 pandemic -- at home -- but noted in a Friday-afternoon announcement that the companies it uses for printing and packaging in the area were not, however, online.
That could lead to product delays at some point but none were noted at this time.
Here's its statement in full ...
"We hope that all of you are safe and healthy as we all navigate through this COVID-19 pandemic. We wanted to provide all of you with a brief update on Panini America. First, we are all well and still operating.
Stay safe: Basic facts on Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19
After a shocking day in the sports world that included the NBA suspending its season for an unknown amount of time, March Madness set to go on without fans in the stands and other college leagues simply suspending their seasons, Blowout Cards wanted to offer some basics to help make sure that our customers are as safe or as prepared as they can be with Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19.
Here are some basics on what exactly it is, according to the Centers of Disease Control and World Health Organization.
What is COVID-19?
According to the Centers for Disease Control, this is a new coronavirus not previously identified. This virus is not the same as coronaviruses that commonly cause mild illnesses like the common cold. The COVID-19 name includes CO for “corona,” VI for “virus” and D for “disease.” There are many types of human coronaviruses. What’s its origin and scope so far?
According to the CDC, the World Health Organization identified COVID-19 in mid-February as it was first identified in Wuhan, China, with the first infections linked to a live animal market. Since that time, though, it has spread to more than 114 counties and killed more than 4,000 worldwide with the WHO calling it a pandemic as of Wednesday. This is the first pandemic, according to the WHO, since since the H1N1 “swine flu” back in 2009. Countries most affected by this virus so far include China, Italy, Iran and South Korea — more than 90 percent of its cases at this time.
