Auction Buzz: Beetlejuice NFT a first for Wack Pack star
What: An auction for an NFT featuring Beetlejuice
Click here for the Goldin listingWhy it's Buzz-worthy: As part of its Elite Comic, Video Game and TCG Auction, Goldin is selling a 1/1 NFT of Beetlejuice – not the 1988 Tim Burton film, but the star of many internet memes and a member of the vaunted Wack Pack from The Howard Stern Show. This is just the most recent example of a celebrity selling and profiting from an NFT of their likeness.
There's something different about this auction, though. In addition to owning the NFT and receiving a video of Beetlejuice telling his own life story, the winning bidder gets a physical 1/1 Rookie Card that has been autographed by Beetlejuice. The card is stylized after T206 tobacco cards with some additional twists.
