Ticket Stud or Ticket Dud? You decide ... here's Chapter 26

.With these Ticket Stud or Ticket Dud stories I'm turning just a tiny bit of that energy just a few degrees away from cards (we'll still have plenty of them here) for a different kind of cardboard. What am I doing? Simple ... this is an occasional dip into some random ticket lots -- a show and tell showing something small with a story.
This time? We turn back the clock to today in 2018 ...
Keep reading to see the details this time ... and tell me if you think it's a Ticket Stud or a Ticket Dud.

What's Buzz-worthy: Visually, this one is nice with a clean presentation of a Giancarlo Stanton portrait and plenty of open space for this to be a nice autographed piece ... but it's for a spring game that is pretty meaningless save for a two-homer game from Aaron Judge. Had Judge been on the ticket with that kind of a game it'd be a perfect piece. There are a lot of reliable big-leaguers in the box score for this one but really only Judge is in play big for collectors ... but it's a spring training ticket so the homers don't count. Two other names here do pop out at me ... rookie Nestor Cortes pitching in a game 10 days before his MLB debut against the team where he'd become a bit of a break-out sensation (and MLB All-Star) last season and then another All-Star, Cedric Mullins, with a spring appearance that pre-dates his MLB debut that didn't happen until August 2018. Fun trivia there.
Stud or Dud? It's a nice little stud of a ticket if you ask me. Not expensive but good visuals and a few good reasons to like it.
