Black November Wave 4 ... here are five deals I'd grab now

If you hadn't noticed, there are a number of boxes with discounted prices right now right here as the new wave of Blowout Cards' Black November sales is here

Many of the discounts were dramatic enough that Buzz once again had to ponder the possibilities in many of the boxes and cases -- and here are five that caught this collector’s eye ... and there's far more that just might suit your tastes in the big sale.

BLACK IN NOVEMBER
2021 Topps Allen & Ginter X Baseball Box
Most boxes in this wave of picks are ones I have personally opened in the past, but this one is the lone exception for Allen & Ginter X as in it's the only one that I missed landing since 2018. Why? I actually don't remember -- it was likely timing of arrival -- but Ginter X is a pretty safe buy as there's an autograph in every box with the ink here typically trending rarer than the standard stuff. Almost everything here is in the trademark black take on the Ginter designs and among the autos this time are Aaron Judge, Chipper Jones, Corey Seager, Johnny Bench, Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto, Mike Trout, Pete Alonso, Ronald Acuña Jr., Ryne Sandberg, Vladdy Sr. and Vladdy Jr. and more from the MLB realm. From beyond baseball, there's Bobby Moynihan, Jose Andrés, Rocky Bleier, Randall Cunnignham, Sara Spain and Trevor Lawrence to start. Again, regular Ginter doesn't include ink every time and these boxes do ... and some years of X could statistically deliver two.

Keep reading for a few more boxes you should consider (and are likely to end up in Buzz's cart).

ICONIC POSSIBILITIES ...
2020 Topps Women of Star Wars Hobby Box
This one has made my last Black November picks before and nothing has changed here for it to not make my list again. Here's what I said last time ... I'm perhaps biased here after landing a solid A+ first box that included ink (assured) and then a really nice sketch (before the dismissal) but I think the potential is still here to try this one as the focused checklist -- nothing but the women of the long-running sci-fi franchise -- and it's got highlights. Ink for Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Felicity Jones, Gina Carano, Laura Dern, Sarah Michelle Gellar and a ton of others are in this one. (Also dual- and triple-auto cards.) That depth might not help but there could be less of everything else here, too, as it's a hobby-only release.

FINALLY DRYING UP?
2014 Panini Golden Age Baseball Hobby Box & Case
I've opened perhaps more boxes of this brand than any other of the "hits" era because they've always been on the cheap side and can over-deliver in both their hit volume and value ... that's 100-percent sure for the release from the year before this one for sure. This edition is different from the others but probably still checks in as the second-best of the three. This brand, if you're not sure, is essentially Panini's version of Allen & Ginter except it guarantees an autograph in every box along with another hit and a mess of inserts, mini parallels and base from a wide array of possibilities. Some of the signers here include Ernie Banks, Bo Derek, Jake LaMotta, Catherine Bach, Frank Robinson, Dick Van Dyke and D. Wayne Lukas to name a few and there's a healthy mix of oddball stuff, too, in the base set beyond old-time baseball. Such as? John Pemberton (creator of Coca-Cola), C.W. Post, Moe Berg, Eddie Gaedel, Patsy Cline, Rita Hayworth, Buddy Holly, Willie Nelson, Joey Ramone, Haystacks Calhoun and Jimi Hendrix.

GET IN THE RING ... (AT THIS PRICE)
2022 Upper Deck All Elite Wrestling Hobby Box
This second edition of the AEW flagship set is arguably better than the debut, though that one will have an edge being the first and the home of many Rookie Cards for new stars of this company. However, since there was a substantial delay between the debut and the second there are also a lot of debuts here along with the A-list stars such as Chris Jericho, Sting and MJF. The design is a little more Photoshoppy but I still think it works -- and also might be an improvement on the debut -- but the lack of regularly appearing autos (not every box) was a reason why I didn't dabble here at original prices. At this one? Worth the shot. Big names on in should pay for your box while there are a lot of autos in this one that might not ... but there's also a lot of variety to find that can make up for that ... and, again, it's safer at this price.

DABBLE WITH 'EM ALL ...
Star Trek Discovery Season 4 Box & Case
Every box of this one offers up three autos and one memorabilia card and that right there makes it safe for the price. Sure, like all franchises and sports, that can mean more lesser-name finds but it's also more slots that could potentially be a big one. Atop that, a case includes five inscription autos and two autographed memorabilia cards, too, and then sketch cards also worked in. Among the notable autos? Sonequa Martin-Green, Stacey Abrams, Anthony Rapp, Doug Jones and David Cronenberg in a deep checklist. (If you don't know their names, you'll likely know their faces from entertainment and beyond.) The depth is not necessarily bad as every box is serial-numbered to just 4,000 and some have apparently over-delivered on the guaranteed volume. The lower that box price goes, the easier it is to come out ahead if you find something rarer ... and if you don't the overall volume here still makes a rip safe, too, with other finds also in there regularly.

There's plenty more among the Black November sale items -- check 'em out here -- and we'll have several more to come leading up to Black Friday.
