What's Buzz-worthy: An interesting small detail here -- this is a hobby-only release this year -- makes a pretty interesting development that will perhaps help in small ways in the short-term but perhaps in big ways over time. No blasters means less of everything out there and hobby boxes might sell for more later -- or at least more than they might have as it is -- with them being the only option. An auto in every box is a good thing here and the insert volume (roughly one per pack) isn't bad, either, but variety might be lacking here a bit. It's not bad but a little more would make it good. My Orange here is one in 57 packs (roughly four boxes) was not a good one but I'd rather land it than not. The ink also wasn't the greatest value-wise but his numbers were pretty good so I think there's some potential here down the line. The big card in this one is probably the Wave Beam Team card for Ohtani -- one in 112 packs -- with sales as high as $50 but as low as $10. (Not numbered but two per case so it could settle down ... but pick up steam later.) The photos didn't seem to stand out as much to me for this brand this time in this box but the mix of past and present players is nice. I might rip more if it presents itself as I think this is a comfortable one.

Product Grade: A-
Box Grade:
A (solid names found here ... rarer Ohtani helped get it the A)
Fun Grade: B (not the flashiest break but good names here)
