What's Buzz-worthy: Eight packs ... seven Aaron Judge cards. That's an oddity for sure -- and nothing is a variation or parallel, either. Atop that, the run of stars here are strong with Acuña, Ohtani Stride and more and then a couple of the better rookies but not the top ones. The inserts were a little lean -- they often are with Heritage blasters -- but there's Judge again. This is pretty close to a perfect blaster -- had it had a hit or something rarer atop all these stars it'd be a simple A+ box. ... There needs to be more in Heritage boxes through the rest of the 1970s years if you ask me (save for maybe next year) to get things a little more interesting. Why? If things are too tough there's no point in opening or collecting them and the basic stuff won't gain value, either, if boxes remain findable or if the overall volume is so high. ... Hit hobby boxes for a guaranteed hit in every box -- and there are a few autos in every case -- and that's how I'll eventually go this year. I've easily done more of this one than any other release this year so far on the retail front.
Product Grade: B+
Box Grade: A- (good run of stars ... and so many Judge cards in a small box)
Fun Grade: B
