What's Buzz-worthy: It's a Barbie world at the box office for the last month or so and that got me wondering why no card sets were made for what figured to be a big deal whether it was a theatrical hit or not based merely on the massive marketing push alone. Ultimately, that probably just came down to licensing cost vs. potential interest ... but these Uno decks are official movie merch -- and are also gaming cards -- so I figured I'd grab a pair of decks here with one novelty potential that immediately came to mind ... slabbed Margot Robbie Barbie cards. Why? She really doesn't have a boatload of card appearances despite a lot of big roles. (I have to decide which colors to slab ... though some might try them all.) These decks deliver plenty of Barbie and others who took on that name (I haven't seen it but there are lots of Barbies in their world) as well as some other characters. (Oddly not one Ken ... at all?) Some names I know, more names more of you probably know, and, well, this might be all there is unless stuff is still planned to come like some inevitable sequels. (Though that's not 100 percent, either there are more than $1.28 billion reasons (and counting) why more should be on the way. You get a good volume of cards in each box and they are quite clean in their production and are part of a long line of themed Uno decks made for years now for all kinds of properties where characters (Star Wars, other movies, TV shows, video game characters, WWE and so on) appear on the gaming cards. Since there's no standard movie cardboard part of me thinks some slabs here could be fun and interesting items that might sell well (and the way the decks are built you get plenty) ... but ultimately this one is a simple Buzz Break to tell some of you that, yes, these do exist.
