What's Buzz-worthy: My second one of these was a winner on the insert front as well as with the rookies and that makes it a winning box, despite non-rookie base stuff being not strong at all. The odds for the numbered parallels are higher than one per box as well as a couple of the inserts here but it's ultimately going to be the young stars and sone veterans here that are strong -- Holliday Othani, Soto and rookies. ... Will I open more? Maybe. The bigger formats seem to be delivering well at times for sure ... but there's also a lot of postseason MLB arrivals to compete with this. Plenty is made (based on the odds) and plenty are ripping but unless I get a madness for Mysticals I'm not sure I'm even going to do a big box. We'll see. This one wasn't damaged like my last one -- so it might make for an oddball novelty slab as, well, that's an oddball novelty set. Generally, I was left with a better impression after ripping for this one than Series 2. I've seen better, I've seen worse ... but there's a lot to find here if you're chasing some of the newcomers.
Product Grade: A
Box Grade: A (good names among inserts with the numbered parallels being rarer but not that big)
Fun Grade: A-
