What's Buzz-worthy: My second pack of this one delivered similarly to my first but with a numbered insert this time and then star power in different spots. The Gold probably gets it the B+ grade here because without that there aren't any big highlight cards here other than perhaps the Wood 1990 and the retail-only inserts. The rest is relatively standard and that will happen with a smaller format like this. Was it bad? Nah. Was it average? Maybe not far off. Was it an A? Nah ... but that happens when you're ripping smaller packs and not bigger boxes. (Since I don't need flagship at its hobby box prices, I'm just opting for smaller bites and more Buzz Breaks here.) ...  As I noted last time, the foilboard effect is back on every single card but instead of going dark on the borders it's a mash-up of 1982, 1984 and 2019 with a light modern look this time around. Does it work? Yes. ... The new Diamante parallels bring some funk -- they're different and I don't mind them -- while the lineup of what's in these packs is ultimately the same as last year with the Stars Of MLB cards once again carrying more retail weight here -- definitely still needs more variety in this format. At the same time, across my three packs I also noticed a lot of repetition of stuff ... so the chatter about collation here being streaky or even bad just might be true. ... If you like what you see, rip into jumbo for your best results and a guaranteed autograph and Relic and maybe more.

Product Grade: A-
Box Grade:
B+ (probably thanks to the Gold and a couple other names ... otherwise would be average)
Fun Grade: B (still needs more variety here on a pack-to-pack basis)
