What's Buzz-worthy: Unlike my recent blaster box, which delivered relatively well but still felt flat, this package's variety made it fun and its volume helped rack up the rookies before it delivered big. Take on other stuff only found here and then some good names in spots and, well, the rare autograph made this an easy A-plus box. The auto here is one in 14,388 packs -- yes, that's still too high -- but it was a nice find, despite an ugly 2025 MLB season for Lawlar. Atop that, the Silver bonus pack included the Ohtani-Sasaki combo card and a Baldwin, too, making those wins, while the Companion card also was Sasaki. Throw in the Purple and then some top names among veterans and Hall of Famers in the inserts, and this one wasn't uncomfortable at all thanks to those wins and the variety. This set is jam-packed with rookies and the volume here shows it, so all of those key names in there (some twice) all mean possible appearances among parallels, too. Overall, the production quality seemed cleaner here, which wasn't always the case at other times this year. With both Rookie of the Year winners and even more in there, this one -- and particularly this format -- will probably be on my radar moreso than others for some future rips where I want some volume and variety without a higher price.
Product Grade: A- (loaded with rookies this time ... and more inserts, too)
Box Grade: A+ (that auto is one in 14,388 packs)
Fun Grade: B+
