Star Wars has made its mark in sports merchandising (gallery)

We all know that Friday is a big day in the film world with the arrival of the next Star Wars film, The Last Jedi.
It's a behemoth we've seen teased on TV and online for months -- and even longer in the toy aisles -- and now that we're days away from its release there's even more to potentially be seen and heard about the latest chapter in the legendary franchise. But, like spoilers, I've tried my best to avoid most of it -- all of the merchandising and marketing that can include everything from food to car commercials and then all that stuff in the toy aisle.
So, maybe it's just my situation -- it's a black hole of sorts I don't want sucked into because there's just too much I'd potentially want but ultimately don't really need -- but when I saw that there was a massive amount of sports-related Star Wars items in one online location I didn't expect?
Well, that's why we're here ...

Buzz Movie Trailer Vote - Avengers: Infinity War (opens May 4)

The trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has arrived in advance of its arrival in May, and it's got everything you might expect and more. This one's clearly going to be darker, but it's also going to bring some groups together that haven't shared screen time before in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will be the 19th film as part of the continuity (away from the X-Men films, which are a different studio) when it arrives.
Check out the new trailer after the jump.

Bargain Buzz: Scouting the Blowout Black Friday Doorbusters

Buzz is a collector who has to be selective -- can't collect everything but would probably want to -- so that's why a day like Black Friday is important.
It's a time for me to try stuff I normally wouldn't -- or try something I've always eyed but never done simply because the price is right.
Blowout's Black Friday Doorbusters have been revealed and there are some serious bargains to be found along with the previous waves of Black November discounts on other brands beyond these. Keep your eyes on this forum link to get the latest of what's been unleashed on Friday -- and what's back in stock, too.
Keep reading for my picks on the deals that would get my attention first once those Friday prices kick in -- and then check out the full list here to see the prices.

Black November Wave 7 is here ... and here are five deals to consider

If you hadn't noticed, there are a number of boxes with discounted prices right now over on the mothership as BlowoutCards.com is in the midst its Black November sales now.
Wave 7 is here and many of the discounts were dramatic enough that Buzz had to sit down and ponder the possibilities in many of the boxes and cases -- and here are five boxes/cases that caught this collector’s eye.
2013-14 Panini Prestige NBA wax boxes and cases
This isn't a high-end brand but it's one that packs two autographs and two memorabilia cards in every box with roughly 20 insert cards, too. The key here? Giannis. His autographs are in here. His Rookie Cards are in here. He's such a big deal, he doesn't even need his long last name mentioned here. (Yes, I can spell it ... Antetokounmpo.) If you land his auto, it can pay for at least a third, if not half of the case. This is a brand where you can also land the likes of Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant ink (among others) and there's plenty of stuff in there -- especially if you go with a volume buy with the low sale price.
