What's buzz-worthy: Opening Day arrives with "something for every collector" in a package that includes some new things for a new year -- like the Triple Play Card seen above -- as well as the things collectors have come to expect from the brand.

The Basics: The basic set for this one will consist of 200 cards with a mix of Series 1 and Series 2 players with an insert card once again found in every pack. Parallels will include Opening Day (/2,022), Opening Day 1/1s and printing plates. At least 25 players in the base set will have photo variations and some will have an autographed parallel (/10). Other ink will include Opening Day Autos for as many as 20 players as well as Ballpark Profiles, which will be signed by "ballpark personalities." ... For memorabilia cards, there will be Opening Day Relics, Mascot Relics, Diamond Relics (dirt), Turf War Diamond dirt Relics for two players per card, Major League Mementos Relics and manufactured Mascot Patch cards. Also in this one will be autographed Mascot Relics, signed Diamond Relics and dual-auto Diamond Relics (dirt from the diamond). ... Among the inserts will be Opening Day, Triple Play Cards, Bomb Squad, Mascots, Luck of The Irish, Dugout Peeks, Walk This Way!
