2019-20 NBA Hoops
eBay Buzz: Zion Williamson & Kobe Bryant autos, Matt Hardy, Rio Ruiz spring heat and ... Phil Hughes' final 2011 jersey
Have you seen the latest cool or interesting items on eBay? If not, you just might see some of those here every week as we're launching a weekly version of our eBay Buzz pieces that pop up from time to time. We’ll spotlight some items that have a story or just wow us with how much interest it might have — and we’re not just talking baseball cards, either.

ZION! ZION! ZION!
The Item: Kobe Bryant & Zion Williamson 2019-20 NBA Hoops Art Signatures dual-auto (BGS 9.5/10)
The Price: $99,999.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This card is an interesting one in that, unless there was some other seriously advanced-planning signing sessions last year, it will absolutely never happen again making it an even more amazing (and somber) creation. This is one of the rarest inclusions in hobby boxes of 2019-20 NBA Hoops with on-card autographs of the future Hall of Famer gone too soon and the rookie who has dominated the league so far this year. Williamson just recently posted a career-high scoring night -- and more are likely on the way as he is putting up a more-than-respectable scoring streak. Any and all Zion ink will be in demand more than ever -- and this one might hold up as one of the the biggest autos of them all no matter what one-of-a-kind high-end stuff might be coming. This came out of a super-affordable flagship-style Hoops pack and it's a classic. I don't see it getting that BIN price, but I could see some big, big offers. Right now it's the highest of just two copies graded ... and we have no idea how many more might even have been signed.

What's Buzzing Today: Derrick Henry is a freak, Drake's Rookie Card reaction, big pulls from around the collecting world and "What happens with Patrick Mahomes prices when Houston wins?"
Did collectors overlook the possible Drake 'Rookie Card' while chasing Zion Williamson in packs of 2019-20 NBA Hoops?
The headline says it all here, though I'll admit that this one is firmly written tongue in cheek because I'm not 100 percent sure if that is the answer.
But what I do know is that entertainer and Toronto Raptors superfan Drake can be found on a card in packs of 2019-20 NBA Hoops -- you know, the first set of the year where collectors could chase Zion Williamson Rookie Cards in his NBA uniform.
You'd think that Drake might have shown up on cards before -- it's possible he has and I just don't know -- but he's definitely there on one card in the release. Keep reading for the details ...

Black Friday Wave 2 -- here are five deals to consider
If you hadn't noticed, our second wave of Black Friday boxes with discounted prices have dropped right now right here as BlowoutCards.com is bringing a wave approach to today's sales.
There are three more waves of discounted boxes to come later in today's big sale ... so keep watching.
Here are five boxes/cases that caught this collector’s eye in this first wave.
2019-20 Panini NBA Hoops hobby box
The big discount on this one is an opportunity to chase some of those big on-card autos of the big guy here, Zion Williamson, along with plenty of other autos as you get two per box. There isn't some kind of tiny limit on how many boxes you can grab here, either, so that helped make this one the lead-off spot for this new wave. Loading up on basic Rookie Cards from brands like this are better done now than later as flagship-style releases and their RCs are prime grading material and seemingly more popular than ever in recent years across the major sports. For many collectors who might have first dabbled in basketball cards with the arrival of Hoops back in 1989, this brand is a comfortable one. There's also plenty of insert action and other stuff to chase in here, too, beyond the guy on the box.Board Buzz: Must-read threads on Blowout Forums (Nov. 17)

Zion Williamson signs exclusive autograph deal with Panini (updated)
Update: Details have been added since this first published and you can find links to 2019-20 releases below.
--
The biggest question of the year for NBA collectors has been answered.
Yes, Zion Williamson autographs will be found in packs of Panini America basketball cards, according to Sports Business Journal.
An official statement with more details from the company about its exclusive autograph deal with the NBA's No. 1 overall draft pick out of Duke University should arrive later today.
"We're on the cusp of witnessing one of the most historic NBA Draft classes of all time, and it's no secret that Zion is a driving force behind that fact. He's a transcendent talent and a must-have presence in all of our NBA and collegiate basketball products for this season and beyond," said Panini America CEO Mark Warsop in the prepared announcement. "We're thrilled to partner with Zion and his team to deliver exclusive trading cards and autograph trading cards to fans and collectors that will uniquely chronicle his landmark rookie season and for the start of his NBA career while adding incredible value to our entire product roster."

Ja Morant signs exclusive autograph deal with Panini America
One of the possible top picks in this year's NBA Draft has a new team already.
He's former Murray State star Ja Morant and he's signed an exclusive autograph card and memorabilia deal with Panini America. He's perhaps going to be a top-five pick next month and his first autographed items will be available via Panini Authentic after the draft.
“I’m very excited to join the Panini America family as an exclusive member of the team along with some of the greatest names in the game,” Morant said in a prepared release. “I dreamed of having my own trading card to share with family, friends and fans, and Panini America is helping make that dream come true. I’m appreciative of that and look forward to a long relationship.”
