Brock Osweiler, Cam Newton, Doug Baldwin & Megatron among NFL's most Buzz-worthy in Week 12

Brock Osweiler had to wait a long time for his first NFL start -- but his second one that came on Sunday dethroned the NFL's most-successful team in an overtime classic. After a 30-24 win over the previously undefeated New England Patriots, this Denver Broncos QB has to be one on the minds of a few collectors -- not just on the mind of NFL legend Peyton Manning. Osweiler threw for 270 yards and a touchdown in the game -- one where Broncos RB C.J. Anderson (2013 RCs) could easily be right here, too -- and he'll be the talk of football until either his next loss or the potential return of Manning, who is out with an injury.
Osweiler's RCs can be found throughout 2012 NFL brands and his autographs are plentiful along with his memorabilia cards. If he's truly the future in Denver, there are bargains to be had. Have we seen a scenario like this recently with the Broncos? Perhaps.

How can a case of Panini America football cards be yours? Simply predict Monday night's point total (Hint: Also read the tie-breaker!)

Black Friday has come and gone, but we've left our biggest contest to run through the weekend and into Cyber Monday.
We're giving away a case of Panini America football cards.
We want our 20-box case of 2014 Panini Rookies & Stars Longevity football boxes to be yours. It's jam-packed with four hits per box (that's 80 per case!) and originally carried a suggested retail price of $50 per box.
In a comment right here, guess the total number of points scored in the Ravens-Browns game on Monday night without going over. All entries must be in before the game starts at 7:30 Central time on Monday and comments will be held before they are approved in batches throughout the weekend. (Don't worry if you don't see your answer appear immediately on the page.)
***KEEP READING FOR STEP ONE OF TIE-BREAKER***
If there are several collectors who correctly pick the same score, our tie-breaker process will be this:
1. First preference goes to a blog subscriber. Look for the red button you see here
on the upper right of the screen (or at bottom of story feed on mobile). Suscribe and you will get an email every time there is a story posted on BlowoutBuzz.com. (We'll have plenty of info posted here daily.)2. If all correct responders are already blog subscribers, we will select one winner at random.

Hall of Fame semifinalist list shows one thing often missing on cards
The semifinalists list for this year's Pro Football Hall of Fame vote was revealed this week and there are some legendary names on the list of 25 -- Brett Favre, Terrell Owens, Morten Anderson, Alan Faneca. And if you're like Buzz -- a long-time collector but maybe someone whose focus isn't purely on football all the time -- one of those names may have left you saying, "Who?"
Immaculate Collection is here -- and BlowoutTV has the big pulls covered

Today's the day for 2015 Panini Immaculate Collection football cards to arrive and BlowoutTV has been at it since the early morning, busting a few cases already and box after box as well.
Bargain Buzz: Scouting the Blowout Black Friday Doorbuster deals
Buzz is a collector who has to be selective -- can't collect everything but would want to -- so that's why a day like Black Friday can be important. It's a way to try stuff I normally wouldn't or something I've always eyed but never done simply because the price is right.
Blowout's Black Friday Doorbusters have been revealed and there are some serious bargains to be found along with the previous waves of Black November discounts on other brands beyond these. Keep reading for my picks on the deals that would get my attention first.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley is small but powerful when it comes to football cards, too
If you've missed Cole Beasley on the football field, it's not that big of a deal -- it's easy to miss the Dallas Cowboys' 5-foot-8 wide receiver.
Besides, we all know he's small and powerful when it comes to selling Tide PODS -- go ahead, watch the commercial above. It's been viewed more than 5.6 million times. (We won't tell if you haven't seen it.)
You know where else Beasley is small and powerful? You know, where he's a bit of a short-print?
On football cards.
Jameis Winston, Cam Newton, Thomas Rawls, Doug Martin among NFL's Buzz-worthy in Week 11

The NFL's newest emerging name -- Seattle RB Thomas Rawls -- ran for 209 yards and a touchdown and added three catches for 46 yards and a score. But -- and this is a big but for collectors -- he doesn't have a single legitimate NFL card, so we're stuck with this guy. It turns out that "this guy," aka Tampa Bay Bucs QB Jameis Winston, had a record-setting day for his team with five touchdowns and 246 yards passing in a 45-17 win over the Eagles. Is he that good -- or are they that bad? Doesn't matter on cardboard as he'll continue to be one of the rookies collectors hope to find in this year's football boxes.>> Click here to shop for 2015 football boxes on BlowoutCards.com.

Jeremy Langford, Antonio Brown & Adrian Peterson among NFL's Buzz-worthy players in Week 10
Jeremy Langford might not be the Bears rookie that many thought would be stirring things up in Chicago, but in Week 10 he was just that with 20 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown as well as seven catches for 109 yards and a score. On the season, the fourth-rounder out of Michigan State has four rushing touchdowns and 225 yards -- most of that in the last two weeks. when Matt Forte has been out due to injury. Could the Bears have a new option here on offense? Sure seems like it.>> Click here to shop for 2015 football boxes on BlowoutCards.com.
He's not the only Chicago Bear who generated some buzz on the field this week.
Buzz List: Five NFL players to watch this week
The Pittsburgh Steelers will likely be without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Sunday when they take on the Cleveland Browns and that team's likely QB is our pick for a prime player to watch on Sunday. He's "Johnny Football," Johnny Manziel, who completed 15 of 33 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown in a 31-10 loss on Nov. 5.Could a decent game against an AFC rival be enough to spark interest -- or at least some optimistic hype -- in a guy who was an unquestioned top rookie on cardboard last year? And what about a good game? Buzz thinks that could re-ignite some serious interest.

Fans of Funko Pop! figures may not see a change in their seemingly always-arriving collectibles, but there was a change in ownership for the Everett, Wash.-based company that makes them earlier this month.Funko, which was founded in 1998, was acquired by ACON Investments for an undisclosed sum. Its CEO, Brian Mariotti, and management team will continue to lead operations.
"We are excited to be partnering with Brian and the entire Funko team," said Ken Brotman, Founding Partner of ACON, in a prepared statement. "Funko has established itself as a fore-runner in the pop culture space and we look forward to building value in a business that is very well positioned for continued growth."
Russell Wilson Texas Rangers auto Relics coming in 2015 Topps Dynasty
Russell Wilson was a fourth-round pick of the Colorado Rockies back in the 2010 MLB Draft and he spent two summers in A-ball where he hit .229 with five homers and 26 RBI and 118 strikeouts in 93 games.Despite that, or thanks to his NFL credentials as a Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, in 2013 the Texas Rangers claimed him in the December Rule 5 Draft. He has not played an official game since 2011.
Now, he'll have autographed Relics in one of Topps' priciest baseball card brands.
Dallas Cowboys & Star Wars join forces to rule the apparel universe
How 'bout them Stormtroopers? Or ... maybe The Force is strong with them Cowboys.
I've got a bad feeling about this. Or ... It's a trap! No, Coach Ackbar, this is the latest merchandising push from the Dallas Cowboys -- a line of co-branded apparel meshing Star Wars and the famous
DeathStar. You can see all of it if you try to keep reading.Do or do not, though. There is no try.
Topps' Honor Roll Ribbons among coolest cards featuring military ties
There have been countless sports card sets made in recent years with nods to the military and the NFL's Salute to Service campaign reflected in packs. There have been camo cards, ribbon cards and so much more found by collectors, and it's trickled over into other sports, too, with camo parallels and special military-tied inserts in packs along with memorabilia cards from military-themed jerseys. But none of them can touch a simple set from packs of 2008 Topps football cards called 2008 Topps Honor Roll Ribbons. It's a set that shows past NFL players who were members of the military along with mini replicas of the medals that they were awarded.

Buzz List: Five NFL players to watch on Sunday
Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota will have plenty of eyes on him on Sunday when he returns as the starter after suffering an injured knee ligament that had him out of action since Oct. 18. A good game could spark more interest and that might happen if his team's game against the Saints turns into some type of shootout. A bad one could have people starting to wonder about the guy who went No. 2 overall in this year's draft. (We all know QBs get a longer shelf life than other spots, though, right?)Keep reading for four more guys to watch on Sunday.

However, TRISTAR announced a private signing with the future Hall of Famer on Tuesday with the date set early enough in December for sports fans to consider adding his ink to their collections and have it arrive just before the holidays.
